About

The Hotel Redland

We have 13 rooms including adjoining rooms for families and a handicap room.

Of downtown Homestead’s smattering of mom-and-pop lodging options, this historic inn is by far the most desirable stop heading towards the Florida Keys. Upon opening in 1904, this was the town’s first hotel, later becoming the first mercantile store, first post office, first library, and first boardinghouse. Each charming room has a different layout and furnishings, and some have access to a shared balcony. New owners have transformed the hotel’s restaurant into amazing Bistro style cuisine for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, with live music on weekends. There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Food & Drink

Restaurant and Bar

City Hall Bistro Bar & Restaurant is located in Hotel Redland, that is 800 feet from the center of Homestead.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in South FL on a budget this is it! 30 minutes from Key Largo, 45 minutes to South Beach, 2.5 hours to Key West, 1 hour from FLL airport. We had a ton of fun on our stay and the hotel was just what we needed. Quiet historical spot in downtown Homestead. Can’t wait to come back and visit when the restaurant is open. Thanks for having us!

This is one of Homesteads revived treasures. We stayed at the hotel and ate in the restaurant. Both great experiences. The room, while small, was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We had a room with access to a second floor patio with some tables and chairs. The staff in the restaurant were courteous, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the area. Our food was excellent and cocktails were on point. We will definitely make this our go to stopping point when traveling through the area.

Wonderfully inviting hotel. Warm and quaint. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. This hotel will continue to be a stopping point. The bartender is truly and craftsman and the chef is a genius in the kitchen. If I could give this place more than five stars I would.

Very cool hotel with a haunted story. Older than the town with lots of history inside. Loved the old school vibe, made me feel like I was a traveling socialite in the old days! With modern amenities of course.
